The plant has the installed capacity to produce 400 MT/ Month of Grey Iron, S.G.Iron, Alloyed Iron and Ni- Resist Castings. The plant is having area of around 46,000 sq. ft. and built up area is 25,000 sq.ft.Pooja Technocast is equipped with the full fledged Manufacturing and Quality Control Facilities to meet the casting demand of Indian and Overseas market.

VISION

The management has the vision to expand the foundry capacity and achieve the target to produce 2000 MT month of castings by installing high pressure molding line, in near future. The foundry will meet the requirements of castings of various sectors of industries like Automobile, Tractors, Heavy Earth Moving, Insulators, Railways, Marine, Compressors, Valves, Packaging and Refrigeration etc.

Casting Process

Casting is a manufacturing process by which a liquid material is (usually) poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, & then allowed to solidify. The solid casting is then ejected or broken out to complete the process. Casting may be used to form hot liquid metals or various materials that cold set after mixing of components. Sand Casting is one of the most popular & simplest types of casting that has been used for centuries. Sand casting allows for smaller batches to be made compared to permanent mold casting & at very reasonable cost.
